East Village Dental is fantastic! The staff was very friendly and checked on my insurance before making me commit to any procedures, which was very honest and helpful. I had expected to have a root canal, but based on my infection and heavy swelling, Dr. Treinkman advised an extraction instead. While I wasn't thrilled to hear that, I appreciated his honesty and move to expedite the process for my long-term health. I have since spoken to my sister-in-law, who is a dental hygienist and she concurred that his decision was probably the best based on the circumstances. He also used an iPad to demonstrate the root canal and extraction processes and provided very clear instructions for care upon leaving the office.

I got a crown on my upper front tooth and a veneer on my upper left tooth. A few hours after the procedure, I felt uncomfortable chewing when having a meal. I contacted the office, which scheduled an appointment for me the next business day.

The Dentist also gave me a call shortly thereafter to make sure that I wasn't in any pain/didn't need immediate treatment, and that I would be comfortable waiting until the appointment.

At the appointment, the Dentist fixed me up to full satisfaction, and my mouth feels great and I am totally comfortable chewing.

I really appreciated that the Dentist was so responsive. The staff also was very gracious, professional, responsive, and polite.
