Pragna D.

Pragna is our Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Northwestern University Dental Hygiene School in 1987. She joined the East Village Dental Centre that year. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Society and the Illinois State Dental Society.

Pragna has played an integral part in the growth and success of our practice. She is especially interested in preventative dental care and works diligently to ensure that her patients’ teeth and gums stay clean and free of disease. Pragna is diligent in her work to ensure that her patients prosper in oral health, especially when it comes to prophylaxis, periodontal disease, scaling and root planing, and local anesthesia. She enjoys providing cleanings and creating treatments to ensure that her patients go out into the world with their best smile. She has a niche for discussing dental needs, from restorative, implant, cosmetic dentistry, to braces, and Invisalign®.

Additionally, she makes time to remain updated on the quickly evolving and intricate dental world to ensure her patients’ oral health. Pragna also spends her time with our office pet dog, Shadow, and often visits her nieces and nephews, who constantly floss in case of a surprise exam.
